Eye on Digital Art Books offer you the choice to either design book layouts yourself, or we can provide a design service where our experienced team will work with your images and complete a layout for you to preview and approve.
Eye on Digital Art Books offer you a selection of service options, so you can decide the extent of your own involvement and time dedicated to designing and producing these exciting books.
option a - photographer supplies prints
You would supply prints flat packed (not in a tube) to Eye on Digital Art Books with an order form, detailing your choice of cover material and page style. The prints should be supplied at the size required. If you choose our crease style the prints will need to be full panoramic spread size, e.g. a 14”x10” upright album print will need to be 14”x20”. When designing the pages you will need to keep in mind that we need to cut 1/4” off all sides, as we trim the flush cut edges, so be careful not to have any designs very close to the edge. Photoshop™ canvas templates can be downloaded or supplied on a disk.

option b - photographer designs layouts and
eye on digital art books print and bind
There are many alternative software programs available for you to do your own design work. Photoshop™ canvas templates are available for download or on a disk and are at the correct size and correct dpi. Simply create the page layouts, bearing in mind we will need to trim 1/4” when we finish the edges of the block of pages. Then provide the files to us as flattened jpgs, either on disc or uploaded to an ftp folder on our server.
option c - photographer supplies images for
eye on digital art books to design, print and bind
For those that want us to prepare a design simply supply us with roughly 60 to 90 images, for a 15 page book. The images should be high resolution jpgs, colour corrected. The more information about your preferences you can supply our designer, the better. Include specifics about any images that definitely need to go in the book, or which images you want as black and white or sepias, if you have not already converted them. When we have completed a design we will then send you an email to let you know that your pages are ready to proof.
Once you have accepted the designs we will have the layouts photographically printed and bound into a Digital Art Book.
